As a travel agent I get mixed reviews from clients. Most tell me they enjoyed Kenya more. I really think the most important thing is to make sure you are there at the best time of the year for viewing the animals. After rainy season the grasses are tall and its more difficult to see the animals. I was in the following areas in Kenya and loved every minute of my adventure: Lake Nakuru, Lake Navaisha, Masai Mara, Samburu, Buffalo Springs. Each area has its own specialty - hippos in one, rhinos in one, larger lion populations etc. Just research it and you will have no problems. I went in May because it was off season and I prefer to be out when there are fewer vehicles in the parks. The weather was also perfect - cool mornings and shorts in the daytime. |
