Travel Info I wanna learn the basic Korean language... Such as "Hi", "How are you?", "Thank you" "Sorry" and so forth. I tried a few words, but not sure if those are right. Hi...A ni a sei yo How are you...??? Thank you...kong ban wa Sorry...??? Does the language distinguish from man to woman???? Many people tell me that... Thank u for telling me to know a few of the basic Korean language!!! And could you tell me about the weather in Korea all the years??? Travel Tips The best time to go to Korea is in the spring and fall, the weather is usually sunny and warm. Winters tend to be dry and are not too cold, depending on where you will be in the country. Summer is terrible, typically July is hot and really humid and the it can get really wet in August. Typhoon season runs from the middle of July till early September, but Korea doesn't get hit by many typhoons as Japan and China will typically take the brunt of the storms. The Korean language is called Hangul has three levels of politeness that makes learning it all that more challenging. But for basic travel Korean you don't need to learn the specifics. Basic Korean: The korean language does not hard and soft "a" sounds so when reading the romanization below the "a" sounds are more like "ah" Hi, how are you? = Ahn young ha say yo. Koreans do no differentiate between hi and how are you like we do in English. Nice to meet you = ban gap sum ni da. Thank you (2 ways) - Kam sa ham ni da. Sorry - Me ahn ham ni da. Give me X please - X ju say yo. Where is X - X odi aye yo? Counting They have two counting systems, the one below is used for units and measures 1 - il 2 - ee 3- sam 4 - sa 5 - oh 6 - youk 7 - chil 8 - pal 9 - gu 10 - sheep There are also some good free introductory Korean courses found online such as: http://www.arts.monash.edu.au/korean/kor... Others umm well i am currently studyin the korean language. its great! never visited korea but soon i will.
