What are the top must-sees in Seoul that you can visit in a 19 hour layover? |
Travel Info I have two layovers in Seoul, 19hr and 12hr. Travel Tips This maybe difficult as the internation airport is located at Inchon....about an hour outside of Seoul...if you are transferring in Kempo, which is closer to downtown you are in luck......I would go to Seoul Tower located on top of NamSan Mountain, then to Namdumum Market, the Korean Folk Village ......War Memorial.....and if times permits....go to Seoul House for dinner.......that should give you a view of Seoul and the surrounding area, great shopping, a view of Korean history and a good meal at a Korean theater..hope that helps....I have visited Korea about 25 time and always find something interest to see and do....if only they sold good kimchi in the USA Source(s): http://www.lifeinkorea.com/travel2/seoul... http://www.1stopkorea.com/index.htm?kore... http://english.seoul.go.kr/today/about/a... http://www.geocities.com/picketfence/519... Other Travel Tips as previously mentioned, it's a 1-1.5hr one-way trip to/from the airport (Incheon and Kimpo)... so take into account the time required at the airport... you might stretch your legs and go for a walk around myong dong for some retail therapy... see the city from a bird's eye view from the top of seoul tower... in nam san park (south mountain park)... check out one of the old palaces in the downtown area... take a subway to the city hall stop and there are 3 within walking distance... |
