How many different ways are there to get to las vegas from los angeles? And what are they?

Travel Tips
The good way is to take a quick flight (40 miutes) maybe southwest for $105 one way. It's not worth 4+ hrs of drive unless you really want to enjoy driving. You will spend close to $50-60 on Gas anyways + wasting4+ hrs of your time.

You can also use Greyhound bus but they are the worst mode of travel would say. It sucks.

I am sure there is not a good Amtrack route available.

Others
You can drive to Long Beach airport, park your car, walk in with your pre-printed boarding pass on Jet Blue to San Francisco environs, grab a good rental car or SUV, head west through Sacramento to Reno then head south going in & out of Eastern California-Western Nevada through Lake Tahoe (on 395), Mono Lake, Death Valley, and the most beautiful scenery in America, down to Las Vegas. Did it twice.

Alternatively, grab a flight or direct drive along the interstate to Las Vegas (yawn). However, on your drive, instead of breaking off northward (on 15) with the masses, head across the desert (on 40) to rejoin at small two-lane country roads that'll take you straight to Boulder dam. It's a long and dark trek but the scenery is fantastic.
