Does it make sense to Drive to Vegas from SF? |
Travel Info I have tried getting flight tickets for flying to Vegas on Christmas, but its too expensive. Im thinking of driving...there's going to be only 1 driver. Anyone have alternative suggestions? Travel Tips If you have to drive, make sure you make lots of stops and also make sure you are not sleepy once you head out of LA because you will soon hit the Mojave desert and it's nothing but sand for miles and miles. Almost 575 driving miles, 4/5ths through the most depressing landscape on Earth, and the price of gas make a flight well worth it. Try flying out of Oakland, rather than San Francisco. |
