Start on the south end of the Strip and move up. Park at the Luxor. Check out this pyramid hotel, there is only one so you don't want to miss it. Walk north on the west side of the strip. Stop at Mandalay Bay and go to the Shark Reef. Hit NYNY and ride the roller coaster. Next stop is the Bellagio fountains and the conservatory inside. Continue to north and cut across the strip to see Wynn. Now you're going south. See the Venetian and Paris. Shop at the Aladdin. Continue south back to the Luxor. Stop for meals wherever looks best.

Vegas is a wealth of experiences. You can travel the world in one day by going to a different area on the Strip. Choose from New York at the New York New York, the Roman Empire at Caesar's, the Egyptian Pyramid at the Luxor with exotic adventures such as riding the Nile River by barge to go to your room. Take a trip to Venice and ride a gondola at the Venetian.

If one day is all you have, definitely stay on the Strip and experience all there is, especially at night.

There are tons of things to do that are free to the public such as an erupting volcano at the Mirage, the lions at the MGM, watch the dancing waters at the Bellagio, and much more.
