What is the easiest way to get to Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas? |
Travel Info I wont have a rental car and staying in the South End of Strip. I heard the downtown is shady after dark. How can I get to the Fremont St quickly and get back. I can probably take a cab or bus while going. Can you please give me some options from Fremont street back to strip? Thanks. Travel Tips The best bet is to take a taxi to the Golden Nugget. A taxi ride will be much quicker that the CAT ride. The downtown area around the Golden Nugget is safe and you get a spectacular view of the Fremont Experience. Expect the taxi ride to cost around $10. The Fremont Experience is pretty much the only thing worth going downtown for - and it is worth seeing at least once. I've stayed at the Golden Nugget and it's nice, but the rest of downtown is very low rent and seedy. Some people love that, but I'll take the over-priced comfortable strip any day. Cab will cost you at least $10 each way plus tip, depending on where you're picking one up. I don't know that a cab will get you there any quicker as the Strip (and nearby streets) has traffic, lots of it and both cab and bus will be subject to the same constraints. http://www.rtcsouthernnevada.com/cat/rou... Modified 1 year ago Cab is the best but if you're staying in the hotel and have been gambling ask a host or concierge if they'll arrange a complementary ride. |
