When Shopping, Do you usually buy the Expensive or Cheap Things? |
Travel Info Do you buy the expensive toothbrush that is 5 dollars but has a beautiful shape or the regular one that costs1 dollars and is just plain regular?? not just toothbrush, everything in general?? Please specify Travel Tips I have my I feel so rich days and my I feel so poor days. I try to go shopping when I feel poor, I am more reasonable on these days. But there are things that I will not buy cheap regardless, one of them is soap and shampoo, Ice cream and chocolate, and don't laugh: toilet paper, I hate cheap toilet paper. Others I am a practical person so I usually buy what I need. I buy only what I can afford. I usually buy cheap except on certain items that can't be bought cheap...bread has to be namebrand,lol It depends; but mainly, its a question of quality for me...for major things or things i care about the most, i would prefer to buy the more expensive kind if it means that it will work better and last longer and not need constant repairs or maintanance....Second thing i look at is need..do i really need (not want) but need this thing? Beauty plays a role as well, but its third on my list... As far as toothbrushes.....the thing is, its sometimes a real burden to brush everyday as it is...so i would rather buy an attractive toothbrush that will make the experience a bit more interesting and appealing to stick in my mouth 3 times a day ;-) If that product is known for its quality, then it doesn't matter to me if it's expensive, but I draw my limit when it's very expensive. A dollar or two difference, I guess wouldn't matter that much if it's quality we're talking about. When you're out of budget, if the cheapest would suffice, then go for it! and avoid impulse shopping so you would not feel guilty after you bought something expensive. :-) Tht actually depends on the nature of the person...some likes to save but others like to get satisfaction... personally, since i was a kid, my eyes always look to the quality things which are normally more expensive. Whenever i purchase wht i want, i get the satisfaction which cannot be compromised. Also i have a bad habbit on believing tht the more expensive the price the better the quality, well thts satisfaction. Satisfaction varies from person to person, it depends on self. It depends on the item I'm buying and my financial status at the time of the operation. After giving it some thought, I discovered that cheap stuff aren't really cheap. As for clothes, sometimes I am tempted to buy really expensive stuff but I simply can't afford that. Cheap shoes are really a bad choice! You should always buy at least "acceptable" shoes cause cheap shoes just show! Cheap Jeans on the other hand, make sense. I wouldn't spend money on expensive jeans. |
