Go to yahoo, web, punch in your Southern Ireland camping I'm sure something will come up.
I think Avoca in Co. Wicklow is very beautiful and well equipped for camping. It has great pubs and restaurants ( not alot but in keeping with their surroundings). Glendalough is a must see too!
Do the Ring of Kerry, plenty of campsites and 'casual' camping. If it gets too wet - cheap bed and breakfast. Lovely place - don't miss Valencia Island.
Go to Kerry country. There is the Gap of Dunloe area just outside Killarney that is really nice. I stayed in a hostel there that was in the black valley that is part of the gap area for like $15.00 american a night (they weren't on the euro yet). It was great cause I could also go to Killarney anytime I wanted.
