Where are the best and worst areas/streets to live in Southport, Merseyside? |
Travel Info I'm looking for areas with most/least anti-social behaviour, crime, poverty etc. Travel Tips Southport is ok, but I wouldn't go mad on it true it has little troublesome kids messing around, on a friday and saturday nights but I live in Lydiate and have done since I was born and it is ok but the Maghull and Lydiate people can be snobs but we have started getting gangs in from Kirkby and of a friday and saturday nights its good but just makesure you are out of the pubs before closing time cos there is a car going round with a bunch of men in it and they are beating people up with baseball bats especially when the paradox was open in Aintree. The gang has moved to Maghull and Lydiate now waiting for closing time and beating people up with baseball bats, anyway don't let this put you off from moving here, also Ormskirk and Southport is nice areas and Aughton. Good Luck and Happy House Hunting PS If you want a real rough place live in Litherland Others anywhere in toxteth is bad! i lived there for seven years, most of my family still do. southport is a nice place, but is prone to litt b@stard kids causing trouble. watch out for the 2 kebab houses opposite eachother near b&m bargains on a friday and saturday nite! that's rough! Southport is a seaside resort and it is nice but relatively expensive.Its reputation of being a nice place to live brings in wealthy families commuting to Liverpool, Preston, Manchester and further afield. Its location, reputation and range of expensive houses also brings in a variety of footballers from local teams. The best places would be the areas the footballers live and near the seaside. Garston, waterloo and now southport?????? southport is boring and crap, full of elderly people and snobs plus youre lucky if you catch sight of the sea, i told you before and i'll tell you again aigburth is the place for you!!!!! garston ia rough, waterloo is ok southport is boring unless you enjoy municipal floral arrangements, the fact is that anywhere you go you'll encounter antisocial behvaiour, my advice is avoid speke, toxteth, kensington, anfield and bootle and live somewhere like wavertree, aiburth or west derby happy house huntin if thats your game If you are looking for a property check this one out.
