Travel Info Which are the most beautiful places to visit in California? Travel Tips California is so huge and has such many different landscapes! Here are some of my favorites Sandy Coast: Santa Barbara Rocky Coast: Shelter Cove or Big Sur Mountains: Yosemite Foothills: Nevada City Desert: Death Valley City: San Francisco Wine Country: Sonoma Valley Others I've only visited California once, so I'll just say I really loved Yosemite. If you are somewhat athletic do the Half-Dome hike from Yosemite Valley. It's spetacular. I also hear that driving Route 1 up from Big Sur to San Francisco is one of the most incredible drives in the USA. My friends also say Tahoe is incredible.. My experience and my friends advice.. Modified 1 year ago I prefer Northern CA. San Francisco, travel North to counties such as Marin, Sonoma, Napa. I love the town Healsdburg off of 101 above Santa Rosa. Go to Yosemite and visit the Gold Country, Sonora, Murphy's, Angels Camp. Nice wineries. |
