Travel Info I know it is crowded between X-mas and New Years. How crowded is Disneyland the week before Christmas? Travel Tips I'm not sure what happens in Florida, but for many So Cal locals, Christmas time is the onty time of year they visit the park. Having worked there for two years, lets not spin the reality; the place is a hellpit from the day after Thanksgiving up until New Years. The fake snow is cute, and truthfully, it's not half as bad as a crowded summer day, but don't be fooled, you will probably be attending one of the busiest times of year. With the holiday, Space Mountain's re-opening after a five year rehab, and the parks 50year anniversary celebration, consider Knott's Berry Farm. Source(s): www.mouseplanet.com Other Travel Tips New Years Day is a great time to visit. Everybody is sleeping off their hangovers or watching college football I went there with my family once (probably about 10 years ago) the week before Christmas and it was *empty*. It was great. Very short lines for everything. - This was Disneyworld in Florida though, so things might be different. Modified 1 year ago Just kind of as a general answer - I went to Disneyland with my family on the busiest day EVER - the day of the official 50th anniversary. We got there super early and were able to ride almost all the rides we wanted. Don't worry about the crowds too much if you get there right as the park opens. Just head straight to the rides you want and have fun. |
