Travel Info What are the lifestyles in Madagascar, Africa?
Travel Tips
It depends on which location you're talking about. In the northeast region, it's mostly villages and huts (with little or no electricity/running water). In the central region (just outside the capital in the mountains and all the way down to the coast of Tamatave), there are medium-sized townships with pretty good infrastructure (roads, electricity, etc). In the capital city Tana, it's like a proper city (with lots of old colonial French buildings) where the really rich live right next to the really poor. There are lots of foreigners in the capital city as well, living in big houses. |
