Travel Tips Munich is the best place for the oktoberfest. it is very expensive in Munich, but if you can camp there are many campgrounds all over. many of them will take you by bus to the party... enjoy, and perhaps i will see you there! Source(s): been there Other Travel Tips that's got to be Munich, but i was in many parts of Germany over a period of nearly 11 years and it was all fantastic . my own. Stay away from Munich for the Octoberfest!!! Crazy People all around - seek shelter!!! :) The closer to Munich , the more you will pay during the Octoberfest , even if you book it now. Your best bet is to find a small motel or bed 'n breakfast type place at least 25 miles outside the city , it might save you some serious money. been there during Octoberfest |
