Travel Tips NONO YOU CANNNOT WHENEVER YOU TRAVEL TO ANOTHER COUNTRY YOU NEED A PASSPORT If you are a US citizen you do need a passport, if you are NOT a US citizen living in the US you need the passport from your country and a visa for the country you are going. The US passport takes up to 6 six weeks to have it and you can get at any city hall of any county. If you are active duty military, you military ID will suffice (but check with the airlines first and explain the situation.) In this day and age you should NEVER travel outside of the United States without a passport - even if the visited country e.g. Mexico does not require one. Remember you not only have to get into another country but (I assume) you must also return to the U.S. |
