I saw a special today on Niagara Falls. The Canadian side seems well developed is the US side developed, too?

Travel Info
The special was talking about the mist problem they were having because of all the development of the skyscrapers on the Canadian side. I was wondering why all the development was on the Canadian side and not the US side. Any ideas? Or, is the US side developed and they just didn't mention it?

Travel Tips
Anyone who has been there, Canadian or American will tell you the Canadian side is better. The Canadian falls are better, the view is better and well, yeah, the US side has been developed for years (not well either, hope you love billboards as there are a lot). The Canadian side has beautiful gardens around the falls, a lovely place to take photos.

Others
Mainly because the US side has been developed for YEARS.
HEY DONT U KNOW CANADIANS SUCK ! AND THEY SUCK HEAVILY. NO MATTER HOW MUCH IT IS DEVELOPED. AMERICANS R DA BEST. U SHOULD NOT WORRY ABOUT THE LOUSY CANADIANS. HEY! I'M JUST KIDDIN' . LIFE WONT BE THAT MUCH FUN WITHOUT CANADIANS. I LOVE CANADA . THE US SIDE IS NOT SO DEVELOPED AS THE CANADIAN ONE.
when I was in Niagra Falls we only went to the Canadian side. Not sure why its nicer but it is. It seems they are marketing the fact that it is canadian and its mostly US tourists who go there. US tourists don't want to go to the US side because its more interesting to be in another country.
yes the american side is developed but not as extravagant as the Canadian side. But i did here there are some plans in the works to create more of a tourist industry on the american side, still the canadian side will always be better for viewing etc...
used to live hour away from canadian side, lived in southwestern Ontario now live in Nova Scotia
The Canadian side is more developeed, and the views of the falls is a lot better there.
