Travel Info Do gifts have to be unwrapped? Travel Tips I assume you mean do they have to be unwrapped if you are flying? If so, then yes. That is reccommended. "This recommendation applies as well for passengers planning to use air transportation this holiday season. The FAA says, passengers should leave gifts unwrapped since it is possible they may have to be unwrapped by security personnel."
