The best advice is to call the airport today and ask them what the security lines have been like and the wait for those. Or you can also call the airline directly and ask them, they usually are willing to give good advice. Remember - its better to be safe than sorry - its better to get there really early and be a little bored there waiting for departure time than getting there late and being rushed through everything. Three hours is a good guiding principle. However, if you have an e-ticket, check in the night before, print out the eticket and depending on the time of year, I would go about two hours before. Also, if you want to avoid the lines and already checked in, just check your bag at the curbside and head straight to the gate (assuming you have something to check in). I travel for business and pleasure at least 6x per year. |
