Travel Tips The guidelines for tobacco are 800 cigarettes, 400 cigarillos, 200 cigars or 1kg of loose tobacco. If you're travelling to or from a non-EU country, you can still buy duty-free goods, but within the EU, this perk no longer exists. The duty-free allowances are: Tobacco : 200 cigarettes; or 100 cigarillos; or 50 cigars; or 250 grammes of loose tobacco.
