Your idea reminds me of many years ago in Sydney,Australia when two brothers started up a coffee shop and served great peculated coffee and it smelled so good that virtually everyone who walked past caught a wif of it and came inside for at least one cup.This method worked well and to ensure a continuity of customers, They didn't have any chairs and tables so people would leave after a couple of cups which they enjoyed whilst standing at a bar type counter. There is one on the Rue de Rivoli near the Tuileries metro station, or there is one in the Palais des Congr茅s at Porte Maillot (Neuilly side) that has less tourits & more Parisians. It is a proper French tea room, so a bit snobby - but the hot chocolate, home made whip cream and patesseries are to DIE FOR. best I've ever had! |
