What is it like to live in Philly? I'm 25.? |
Travel Info thinking about moving there soon. Travel Tips Depends on where your trying to move. The Northeast is nice but depening on where far from the majority of clubs (most of the good ones are on south street or columbus blvd) Downtown is cool and closer to the action but gettin around and cost of housing is hard and high. Parts of west philly have serious crime problems, and the all of north has a crime problem. Anywhere you move tho there is always alot happening and something to do. Each neighborhood has there own hangouts, Bars, clubs, pool halls, bowling alleys etc as well as their own flavor. Its a city very rich in history, and you wouldn't lack in culture either. Zagats guide recently *withen the last few years* gave 5 stars to more resturants in Philadelphia then any other city. And if your looking for a good cheese steak try Pat's and Gino's and the others down south street. Then go to the dirty hole in the wall you can find, and get yourself a real cheese steak. try the links below to find out more info on the nightlife. Oh and if you want a taste a philly before you move here *well there rather as i now live in allentown* Go to www.wmmr.com between 6 an 10 am and stream the preston and steve morning show Almost forgot, most people would proablly consider south philly as the heart of the city *as it is where the teams play and so close to downtown* but for me to is the NE, the culutrally diversity is greater in the northeast then in any other section Imho.
