Where is the best place to stay when visiting the Grand Canyon.? |
Travel Info Wanting to see the Grand Canyon and I need to know the best place to see and stay. Travel Tips I use to work in the park (and out of it). The best place to stay in the park is the El Tovar run by Xanterra Parks and Resorts. Just make sure you understand what you have reserved (some of the room names are deciptive) and outside of the park I recomend The Grand Hotel. Have fun, it's a beautiful place. Others You could stay in Flagstaff, Arizona which is a medium sized city about 2 hours from the canyon. Or you could stay in Grand Canyon Village right near the canyon. It is a major tourist attraction and there is plenty of lodging in that area. |
