Travel Info What can I do and see in Puerto Rico just walking off a cruise boat, without paying for a tour? Travel Tips El Morro is a great place but it was closed when my cruise ship docked at 5pm. The Catedral de San Juan is beautiful. Paseo de la Princesa is great to see the old walls of San Juan and the cats. La Casa Blanca is nice as well. Just make sure you wear comfortable shoes. Others You will be at Old San Juan, you can go shopping there is a lot of small shops around. You can also visit the Morro, this fort is a maze of tunnels, dungeons, barracks, outposts and ramps. The Parque de las Palomas (pigeon park), Paseo de la Princesa (promenade of the princess) is an elegantly landscaped walkway with trees, statues, benches, street lamps and kiosks . |
