Travel Info
I am going on a cruise that sails out of San Juan Puerto Rico, do I need to have a passport?

Travel Tips
No, you shouldn't. But if the ship is going somewhere where a passport will be required they will definitely tell you when you set up the reservations. Most of the countries out there where cruise ships go do not require them, but they do require the ship to leave with who they came with.

Others
Yes, ccheck with the cruise company but I had to have one.
Technically, Puerto Rico belongs to the united states. if u r a citizen, u probably wont need one. check out the cruise website before u make any final decisions.
Travel requirements are now much tighter. You will almost certainly need one. Check with your trave3 agent.
It depends on where the ship is taking you. If the ship takes to another country that is not part of the US you need your passport. If you are going to any of the 50 states, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico then you don't need a passport.
