Other Travel Tips What kind of information are you looking for? The Remarkables is the mountain range that sits on the opposite side of Lake Wakitipu from Queenstown. In winter the snow line is down to the lake, in summer snow can totally dissapear. They are a famous range of mountains because they sit across from the heavily tourism-based town of Queenstown. :-) Grew up in NZ. |
