The Santa Cruz mountains stretch from just south of San Francisco to the Salinas Valley. The highest peak in this mountain range is Loma Prieta Peak (3806 ft / 1160 m). Other peaks include Mount Umuhum (3486 ft / 1063m), Mount Bielawski (3231 ft / 985m), El Sombroso (2999 ft / 914 m), Eagle Rock (2488 ft / 758 m), Black Mountain (2800 ft / 853 m), and Sierra Morena (2417 ft / 737 m).
