Travel Info I went to the US in August 2000. Prior to this I had gone to the US 5 times from 1988 to 99,always returning to my country within one month of stay. This last time tho,I used up my 6-months stay so I applied for extension. I was given another 6 months of stay in the US. While there I learned about a 2-month training/certification program & took it. After the training, I was encouraged by the program administrator to continue the training through an OJT (on-the-job-training) program at a local public school. A school accepted me as a trainee, but they also needed to hire me, so they filed for an H1B petition for me. At the time my approved months of stay was expiring,so I filed another extension. Later the school received an approval for my petition & I received my H1B. However, after a few months I received from INS refusing me to extend. I decided to go home in August 2002. My question, can I still use my B2 visa which is expiring in 2008 or do I need to apply for a new one?
