Good vacation spot for kids within 2-3 hrs drive from San Jose? |
Travel Info We are looking for good vacation spot for young kinds near Bay Area. we will like to find a location which is about 2-3 hours drive by car Travel Tips Jelly Belly Factory Tour in Fairfield. My kids loved it. If you go during the week you can see the factory in motion. The weekends are good as well, you just don't see the jelly belly's being made. San Francisco Zoo is always fun for the little kids. Marine World in Vallejo, a hit with the kiddies Monterey Bay Aquarium, Dennis the Menace Park has paddle boats. Santa Cruz has the beach, tide pools, the boardwalk, Mystery Spot, Roaring Camp Railroads. Hope that helps...have a great trip! You can take a real steam train ride through soaring redwoods, or all the way down to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk for more thrill-seeking fun. Roaring Camp also has a cute "pioneer Main Street" thing, panning for gold, stuff like that. You can take a nature hike through redwoods. There are endless things to do in San Francisco If you like camping there are endless state parks with campgrounds all along the coast Felton Near Santa Cruz has a great train ride through the mountains kids love the Santa Cruz beach and Board walk Great America in Santa Clare is fun half moon bay has a great Pumpkin Festival every October and there are endless pumpkin patches all along the way with everything from pony rides to haunter houses hope this was helpful have fun! |
