Good airport shuttle from San Jose to San Francisco Airport? |
Travel Info I am looking for a reasonably priced and very reliable shuttle that will take me from San Jose to San Francisco Airport. Travel Tips Hi, If you have lot of time and less luggage and you are budget conscious i would suggest taking a bus to the airport. But on the other hand if you want reliability and comfort i would suggest the shuttle service that i have used 3 to 4 times. They are very reliable their prices are mid ranged. It might cost you some where between 49 to 69 depending on where you live in san jose. But the good this is they give you a fixed price and you get to ride by our self in the small van or sometime they might give you a Limo at the same price. So far i had no problems with this particular company which is call usgoldline shuttle. I have used others too but i was not really satisfied with other services either they were late or had too many stops or their vehicles would rattle. Other Travel Tips Unfortunately, I don't think there is one. My boyfriend lives in San Jose and has to hire driver services or take a cab (quite expensive). The only alternative I can think of is to take CalTrain to Millbrae and transer to BART to SFO. From SFO to home in SJ, I have taken both public transit and the Super Shuttle. BART to Millbrae then Caltrain to San Jose is really cheap (less than $7), but it takes at least 60 minutes for the trip. The Super Shuttle is about $35, but you have to take detours as the driver picks up additional passengers. Depending which passenger you are (first or last), you could be in the airport within 45 minutes, or longer. Reliable depends on where you are and what the traffic is like. |
