Public transportation between Santa Cruz and San Jose, CA? |
Travel Info I'm wondering if there is a safe and reliable way of getting from Santa Cruz, CA to San Jose, CA very late at night (2am or so). I could rent a car, but I'm worried about driving through the mountains via Route 17 that late at night. Any suggestions? Travel Tips At 2am? The only thing I can recommend is a taxi or perhaps one of those airport shuttle vans... Others try Grayhound bus lines here check out their bus schedules-Amtrak Highway 17 Express http://www.scmtd.com/routes/rt17.html... from santa cruz to SJ,, I think the earliest bus leaves 4:35a(weekdays) 5:50a(weekends) you might have to rent a car for anything earlier, unless you find a carpool buddy- goodluck.... 17 is not that scary if you drive close to the speed limit and the suggested speed for the curves. I don't think there is much demand for a bus at those hours in the morning. |
