What are some inexpensive (not in the ghetto) rental properties in San Jose, CA? |
Travel Info I am wanting to relocate to San Jose from Illinois. I need at least a 2 bedroom. I would also be interested in an jobs that are available. Travel Tips The market rate for a 2 bedroom apartment in San Jose is $1400 - $1800. If that fits within your budget, there are plenty of places that you can rent from. If that is more than what you wanted to pay, you will have to live in the "ghetto" as you so eloquently put it. The market rate for an apartment in the "ghetto" is $1000 - $1200. Have you considered living in another town and commuting? There is Hollister and Gilroy to the south, and a few others to the north, where your dollar might go a little (just a little) further. As for the jobs, there are plenty out there. It all depends on what you want to do. Check out the San Jose Mercury News for both. Best of luck. Source(s): http://www.mercurynews.com/ Other Travel Tips Please pass the word to everyone in Illinois that it's EXPENSIVE out here in CA. You're just not going to find something inexpensive that's not "ghetto" or out in the boondocks. It's all about the nice weather. Since you didn't set a price as to what you consider inexpensive, the best advice I can offer is to check out craigslist.com for the SF or San Jose area. Give us some more information as to what you are looking for. What is too expensive? Are you looking for a house or an apartment? What type of work do you do? EVEN THE GHETTO IS VERY EXPENSIVE |
