It would appear that the only way to see your friend in Saudi would be if you met up at the Haj pilgrimage. Then I think your visa restricts you to staying in a controlled area. If you are not of the Muslim faith it would appear that the answer is probably no unless you are a family member and can prove it. www.saudiembassy.net With a friend there you probably can.Not knowing where your friend lives in Saudi I can't say for sure.I lived there for seven years and loved it. To visit KSA, other than as a pilgrim which I assume you are not, you need an official invitation. Ask your friend if she can arrange that for you -- either as a visiting teacher or in some other capacity. Go there and you'll love it. And for the visa you don't have to be muslim or so. Go to the embassy and see the procedure I think that is similar to any tourist visa in other countries. |
