Travel Info Have anyone ever been to saudi arabia just for tourist reasons? Travel Tips I think the only way you can go as a tourist is in an authorised and organised group. Saudi Arabia say they want to increase tourism, but the only way seems to be in an organised group. You cannot just fly in to the country. You need a visa, and getting a visa is a real pain. The main tourist visit is pilgrims attending the annual Haj, but again they have to book thru specialised agents and of course by muslims and are on a set visit to Mecca. Other Travel Tips IOt isn,t an easy country to get into if you are not a Muslum.I lived there for 7 years. its difficult to get in there, althought the goverment encourage that. you need visa,and when you in will not find any ifra structure for tourism. the only way to go there is business or haj if u r moslim. i was there for buisness |
