Travel Info Should I move to Saettle? I'm currently in Nashville and need a change.? Travel Tips Seattle is a great city, but very different than Nashville! I encourage you to visit our Emerald City and getting a taste of the area. Of course you will see it at its best in July-October months. The spring months are also very beautiful. The big deal is the rain, which we get 236 days a year. While New York gets more inches, we get more days. Drizzle happens. The job market for certain areas is good, housing is out of sight, entertainment and recreation are at an altime high, and the place rocks! Check it out and get a glimpse of our great city. Am I needing a change to run from something or do I really feel in my heart that moving is the best solution for me? I live in the Nashville area also. The people here are different than you would like. The weather wouldn't be to your liking either. How about Georgia or Alabama? yes u should move here seattle is a great city. u should move here if u like sports(we've got lots of those),coffee, rain(lots of it),cofee,coffee,coffee,coffee... did i mention rain, sports and coffee I love seattle, i wouldn't change it for the world, although we do get a lot of rain, we are one of the few states to see all 4 seasons which are beautiful.not to mention seattle was voted one of the best places to raise a family. we have a lot of events from hempfest to bumpershoot in seattle during the summer which makes the rainy season not so bad. if you like greenery, lots of lakes and rivers, a dedicated sports fan base, coffee, rush hour, rain, 4 seasons, lots of farmers markets & quirky events seattle is the place for you! |
