Do a Google Search for "King County Metro Transit" and you'll find a link to their home page. Schedules and route planning are available on-line. Others an airplane bus metro streetcar monorail anything all the transportation in seattle is great so use it It will, of course, depend on where in the city you live, work, and/or go to school. Take a look at the bus routes and plan from there. We lived in Magnolia/Queen Anne area for about fifteen years and no matter where we wanted to go, we had to go downtown and transfer. It worked great when I worked downtown. I also walked quite frequently since many places that I needed to go were nearby. It's easy to get around from the U District to most of the city as well.
