Looking for a weekend get-away w kids in Seattle area? |
Travel Info Ideal trip would be within a day's drive from Seattle. Kids range in age from 12 to 3. Travel Tips I am not sure how long it would take to drive from Seattle, but Silverwood (in Idaho) is a fun place for kids of all ages. I took my 2 year old last year and she loved it but I am sure she will get a lot more out of it this year. Check out the website. http://www.silverwoodthemepark.com/... Others A lot depends on what you want to do. For a city trip how about Portland, OR or Vancouver, BC? For an active trip you could east over the mountains to Leavenworth and experience the 'Bavarian' culture. Alternatively, take a ferry ride to one of the San Juan Islands.
