I want to move to WA but what's good there????

Travel Info
I live in Cali but is thinking of moving to WA. I've been there once and haven't seen much of the place. I'm thinking of transfering to the school out there, but before I move I want to know what's good in WA??

Travel Tips
I'm a Washington native, there's a lot to see there! In Tacoma, there's lots of historic buildings and a lot of different ethnic restaurants, the waterfront (cruising down Ruston Way is fun, and Owen Beach rocks! Also, check out the Sound Garden. It's awesome.), Titlow Beach, lots of parks, Stadium High School (where "10 Things I Hate About You" was filmed) is gorgeous. Over on N 13-14th and "J" there's a gorgeous old mansion. There's Mt. Rainier, good for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing; the Snoqualmie River is fun for swimming, and the Snoqualmie Falls have got some awesome campsites. Seattle's Pike Place Market is worth checking out. Also, Steilacoom (pronounced Still-uh-come) is beautiful and very historic. Seattle and Tacoma are both about three hours away from the Pacific Ocean, if you take the short way. But the scenic route, which takes you up along the northern tip of Washington, and down the west coast, is gorgeous. Check out Ruby Beach along the way, and have a picnic. Olympia is awesome, lots of shopping there. The Sea-Tac Mall (in Federal Way) and the Tacoma Mall are both pretty big, too. Also, the South End Pool in Tacoma is nice, and recently rebuilt. There are baseball games, both at Cheney Stadium (up at my old high school, Foss), and of course at that new park, which I haven't been to. Still grieving for the Kingdome. There's the Seattle Pacific Science Center, which has all kinds of cool events, the Key Arena too, and definitely check out the museums. Space Needle is cool too, if you want to spring for the cash to eat there. The food is excellent. And the view is awe-inspiring. Also, Seattle and Tacoma are both close to Portland, Oregon. Very underrated city there. Check out the Saturday Market, and go have lunch at the Portland City Grill if you're not afraid of heights (it's on the 32nd floor of a building, can't remember the name now). Have a pink martini while you're there. Yum. Oh, and near Federal Way, there's this lake...Lake Geneva. It's gorgeous, and great for swimming. The water's nice and warm. Also for swimming, check out American Lake. In the summer when it gets hot, that lake is very refreshing. There's so much more to see there, but I'm getting homesick thinking about it. LOL. Washington rocks!
