How long does it take to get from Seattle to the Canadian border? |
Travel Info I'm planning on going there in december, but i need to know how long my drive will be. Travel Tips About 2 to 2 1/2 hours to get to the border. Getting thru can take anywhere from a few minutes to a couple hours depending on where you cross and at what time. Sumas is less crowded than the main crossing point (Blaine) but its not on the direct route. If you cross at Blaine, take the "Truck Crossing". Look for the exit about 3 miles before the border. Cars are allowed and its less crowded and not really out of the way at all. From the border to Vancouver is another hour. Others about 3 hours. maybe a little less if you drive fast :) Leisurely, I'd say about 4 hours. There's lots to see and do on the way. you might want to map it out on yahoo maps or map quest they will give you a more accurate aproximation, i used to live in seattle and drive to canada , so about 3 1/2 hours or so, not that bad http://www.mapquest.com http://www.yahoo.com i used to leave in seattle and it takes about 3 1\2 hours or more because there is alot to see on the way there Depends who you are running from. It's around 168 miles one way (around 2.5 hrs), with the construction on I-5 thru Everett and traffic add 30-45 minutes. |
