Actually looks like you might have a good trip!

Others
The museum of flight and the Experience Music Project in Seattle. Laconner. Winthrop.
Ahhh then you need to come to Whidbey Island. There are doors on a beachfront park in Langley/Freeland. Yea, just random doors. Antique shopping in Langley and Coupeville (and Port Townsend on the mainland penninsula) is also fun. There is a grey whale skeleton in the warf in Coupeville. And it's not really a silly landmark but the Deception Pass Bridge is a beautiful must see. The people on the island are pretty quirky, I think you'd enjoy them.

There is also the Bellmont troll in Seattle that I can think of and similarly quirky people in Ballard.
The trip to Mount Saint Helens is pretty cool. Even 20+ years later, the devastation is shocking. But the extent to which nature has reasserted itself is impressive, too.

It's not really the kooky sort of oddity you might be looking for, but it's certainly something you don't see every day.
When friends come to visit from out of state, I usually take them to these places-

*The Experience Music Project
*The Fremont Troll (Under the Aurora Bridge, in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle)
*Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe (On the Seattle waterfront. It has 2 human mummies and lots of other weird and gross stuff!)
*The Hoh Rain Forest
*The statue of Lenin (The REAL thing, straight from Russia. Now in Fremont.)
*The "Hammering Man" in front of the Seattle Art Museum (convieniently located aross the street from the 'Lusty Lady' strip club...:)
*The Space needle, of course.
*Go on a ferry ride to one of the islands or on the "Duck Boat" (amphibious bus/boat-thing) tour.

Have fun! Western Washington has a lot of cool and goofy places to see and things to do.
Life-long western Washington resident. :)
