Is there anything on freeway 405? |
Travel Info my boyfriend and i just moved here. we have a new convertible. we are looking for a new place to go on 405. Neither of us have used that road. is it scenic? does it lead anywhere worthwhile? restaurants? Travel Tips I-405 bypasses Seattle to the east, serving the Eastside area between Lakes Washington and Samammish. The freeway originates at I-5 in Tukwila, intersects I-90 in Bellevue, and returns to I-5 near Lynnwood in Snohomish County. You could visit Kirkland. They have a nice waterfront and lots of good restaurants. A nice little town to walk around. Also, Bothell. They have Country Village. http://www.sequim.com/maps/washington_st... You can take I-405 to get to hiway 2 and take a nice drive to Stevens Pass, Leavenworth, Wenatchee, Chelan. Have fun exploring! If you have a convertible and it is a nice day you should go up North towards Bellingham to Chuckanut Drive. A beautiful drive with views of the water and mountains. Curvy, so lots of fun! Others of course. ALot of towns with shopping centers, food and attractions 405 is on the eastside of Lake Washington - it is like a lot of other freeways - nothing special For interesting drives, head west - take the ferry to bainbridge and drive out to the olympic peninsula |
