Travel Info Does anyone know of a good company for whale watching in the Seattle area? Hoping not to take a ferry. thanks? Travel Tips I know you said you don't want to take a ferry - but if you reconsider, take the ferry to the San Juan Islands and base yourself on land. You can sit on the beach and watch the whales go by, fee, breach. It's pretty amazing. Take a picnic lunch, wine and a blanket. You can stay at Roche Harbor. You can also take a sea plane up here. http://www.rocheharbor.com/ If you aren't into that - check out http://www.whalewatching.com/ or http://www.island-adventures.com/fwlt.cf... Others Victoria Clipper is the best for comfort and whale watching... they do day trips up the sound and thru the San Juans, and to Victoria B.C..They also have sunset dinner trips. If that's not what you want, here is a link that might give you some ideas! http://www.ci.seattle.wa.us/html/whales.... I'm a Seattlite! There are many. Look it up in the yellow pages....see the link below. http://www.dexonline.com/ |
