I want to move to Seattle. What is a good neighborbood for a 27 year old single Black woman?

Travel Tips
Well that depends on your interests. I'd start near the CD (central district) because it is central and the most diverse neighborhood. It borders really nice neighborhoods like Madrona and Montelake-with access to Lake Washington, and up and coming ones like Columbia City. If you're a hipster Capitol Hill is the center of the universe and rock shows. Pioneer's Square and Belltown are good for clubbing at night and are right downtown with lots of condos. And Queen Anne is a little more sedate but close to the arts- Oprea, Ballet, Symphony, EMP, Art School. The easiest, on a budget, may be the University District near UW and if you're alternative (naked bike rides!) you might check out Fremont or Ballard. Everything else is suburbia- like Bellevue, or just sleepy. Good Luck! Source(s): 3 years
