I am looking for a authentic Chinese dim sum restaurant in Seattle.? |
Travel Info I am visiting Seattle soon, I want to go to some good authentic Chinese restaurants. Travel Tips In Seattle, my husband has been to China Gate several times and liked the dim sum, but we live on the eastside and prefer the dim sum at Noble Court. It is easy to get to from 520, is on 140th off of Bel-Red Rd, across from Safeway. It is really busy on Saturday and Sunday mornings so get there early. China Gate 516 7th Ave. S. Seattle, 98104 Noble Court 1644 140th Ave NE Bellevue, WA 98005 (425) 641-6011 Source(s): http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/ar... http://www.judysbook.com/cities/bellevue... http://www.seattledining.com/restaurants... Other Travel Tips The place you want to visit, hands down, is The House of Hong in Chinatown. I've been there many times for Dim Sum. It's expensive, but it's worth it if you want the best in Seattle. This place is on the southeast edge of Chinatown. It sits facing Interstate 5 at 8th S. and S. Jackson. Jackson is a main east-west street which is near Amtrak in Seattle. You can park there under I-5, then walk across the street to their front doors. http://www.houseofhong.com House of Hong is worth the drive from Olympia. Maybe not today, since the weather is scorching and the restaurant has a, shall we say, warm atmosphere. But yes, House of Hong best dim sum in the state. Been there, done that. I second House of Hong! It is the best dim sum around! |
