Is Yesler Way on a very steep hill?

Travel Tips
Yesler way is the original "skid road", the road that the loggers skidded logs down Capitol Hill to the mills on Elliot Bay. Because of that it has a pretty good grade. There are many steeper streets nearby though.

Others
i believe parts near/surrounding Yesler are pretty step, yes. That's just up above Chinatown right?
Yes, it's very steep. If you climb all the way up from Pioneer Square on that street, all the way up to the little bridge that arches over Interstate 5, you'll get a spectacular view of Seattle. There, to the southwest, you'll see Safeco Field, Seattle's MLB baseball park and Qwest Field, the home field of the Seattle Seahawks. To the southeast, you'll see the corporate office for Amazon.com on a hill there - you'll see it- it's an old army hospital. The best time is around early morning and around sunset.
Somewhat....Third and Yesler not a good place to be.
Yesler Terrace even worse.
