I have friends who live there and love it! It is supposed to be a really nice lifestyle. Wow, you are changing High Schools. You must feel nervous. My son is 13 and has been changed schools 5 times and the last time we put him into a school where he didn't understand the language! English is his mother tongue and we threw him into the local French speaking school. He has been there for two years and is now fluent in French. Have confidence in yourself, everybody is interested in the new kid.
The Public Schools are pretty grim - except the one on Mercer Island. There are some very good Private Schools.
Do you happen to know what part of Seattle, that can make a huge differance in the school. I'd love to give you advice if you can narrow down what part you will be in
