I have seen them from Yakima!! That has been years ago though.

not sure, best to view from fairbanks alaska. But in the meantime you can view it from the comfort of your own home

No sorry you need to be very far north to see the northern lights, you need to be within the arctic circle (so Northern Canada, Alaska, Norway, Northern Siberia, Greenland).
I have seen them from WI and MI but that is on a clear day but the coolest was when i was in Onterio

Yes. My sister and her friend occassionally see the northern lights from Port Townsend. It's not consistent, though.
