Why is Seattle only judged based on weather?? |
Travel Info Why do people only judge Seattle based on the weather are people in the U.S that shallow or simple minded? Its a well know fact that Seattle gets less rain than 90 % of the south, midwest, and east coast and has better air quality and cleaner water than most of "sunny" California cities and Phoenix. Its green for a reason Travel Tips THANK YOU! I am from Seattle (Central District, Capitol Hill...went to Franklin High) and when I moved to DC, all I could hear was "Oh! your from Seattle? Doesn't it rain alot there??" And yes, it drizzles, but not these damn terrential rain storms that the NE has! UUUGG i hate that question "It rains alot there huh?" NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Others i don't know, but we should let n. korea bomb seattle and san francisco It's actually not judged based only on weather...it's also known for having a good music scene. I don't think it's judged on weather. I think it's judged on coffee, music and riots. I like what music came out Seattle in the early 90's! Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden... Seattle is my Graceland! Rock! Because the weather there is sooooo baaaaaddd that it obviates any other virute that might be found there. Worst winter I ever spent was a June in Seattle.
