Boarding passes?

Travel Info
my nephew has been given a B.pass code , he has no idea what to do with it ,... hasnt got his ticket yet which is being sent to him from america by relatives .can any one give me the low-down on what one does going by air for 1st time,...I havnt a clue!

Travel Tips
There are two types of plane ticket, a paper ticket and an e-ticket (electronic). An e-ticket is just a number, and you get given these if booking a ticket online. Also, if your travel agent doesn't give you a paper ticket in time, they can tell you the e-ticket code which you can use instead.
If you have an e-ticket number, all you have to do upon arrival at the airport is present yourself at the desk of your chosen airline, show them the number and usually you have to present some photo-ID (or passport if travelling abroad).
If you are unsure whether the code you have is an e-ticket code, contact the person you bought the ticket from or email the airline directly.

Others
ask a flight attendant or someone who works there
The question confuses me a bit, so if the answer doesn`t help, then sorry.

When he gets his ticket, he will bring it to the airport on the day of departure. At the check-in counter, he will hand over his ticket (along with luggage). They will then give him a boarding pass and send him to appropriate departure gate.
