Travel Info Whats fun in seattle? what can i do over there? Travel Tips There is a LOT to do in Seattle - it depends on what your interests are, but if you've never been there, make sure that you visit the Space Needle, catch a game a Safeco field, visit the waterfront at Pier 70, eat at Ivar's, visit the fish throwers at Pike Place Market and ride a ferry over to one of the islands. The aquarium is pretty cool and there are TONS of little shops all around downtown. There are music festivals and bumbershoot in the summer. If you want to get away from the city a little, visit Mt Rainier, Dash Point, or Snoqualmie Falls. The bars don't close until early in the am, so there is quite a bit to do - especially around the pier. There are some travel guides on the internet as well - have a GREAT time!!! Seattle is awesome. Others goodness- what ISNT there to do? seattle rules. and while you are in a wonderful and artistic cosmopolitan city- you are only a short ride away from rain forests, mountains, hot springs...so much to do! and seattle night life is so varied and vast- there is ALWAYS something to do no matter WHAT you are into. Check out the waterfront, pike place(give yerslf a day or two to see alllt he layers of it), the center, the emp, broadway (dicks burgers are the best in the world- try the fries with their famous tartar sauce! yum!!!!) and be sure to go up the space needle and the soundgarden. Also see the zoo. and also, check out the local islands- vashon is awesome. and every other day- somewhere is having a street fair or something- definitely cxheck out the freemont district farmers market. also, the museums of seattle are amazing! and the parks too! oh, and make sure you hit the pioneer district during the day for fun shops and then kick it at night with a multi pass that wil get you in al the different and fun bars and clubs in that area. every bar there is gonna have a raging band or something to entertain you. anyhow- whatever you want- seattle has got it.
