Any suggestions on good ways to move from one state to another with two dogs and little money? |
Travel Info I really need to move away from where I live due to too many bad memories and I fell in love with Washington a few years ago and would love to move there. The only problem is I am finding it next to impossible to find a place that will take my dogs on a budget I can afford. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated!! Thank You!! Travel Tips yikes. well, you could look for a share with someone that doesn't mind dogs-- it sucks to not have your own place, but at least that way you'll know someone in the new area. another (and probably unlikely) suggestion would be to get rid of the dogs. however, you're probably attached to them if it's come to you asking for advice on here, so that's out of the question. try www.craigslist.com, you can select the area and search, or even post your own ad. with a roommate site you could post an ad that specifies that you have animals you're not willing to part with, AND the type of budget you're working with. Others sell the dogs, this way you'll have less problems and more money Buy then you wont have to worry about the dogs Use the net to look at varios towns local newspapers. Call and ask the places that are affordable to you if they except pets. Try The Daily World in Aberdeen, WA. check rent.com. there are actually alot of places that will allow pets. there are also a few dog parks all around the seattle area, if thats where you plan on living. You shouldnt have a hard time finding a place...there are lots of placing to live on every budget Check your email and contact me.. :) |
